is an American actress of Puerto Rican descent who grew up speaking English and Spanish. Her passion for film acting began after completing a challenging vocal training program at the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Opera Performance. During her undergraduate studies, Giovannie struggled with and conquered extreme stage fright, finding inspiration to take an even bigger leap– changing her focus from stagecraft to screencraft.

After switching to on-camera acting, Giovannie handled her own bookings and within just three months landed a high-paying regional commercial. A year later, she caught the attention of Linda McAlister from Linda McAlister Talent, one of the top talent agencies in Texas, and they’ve been collaborating ever since. Giovannie’s talent and perseverance have helped her land over 30 commercials for major market brands, and she continues to book roles in film, television, voiceover, and video games including roles in back-to-back Warner Brothers films.

Giovannie has appeared in several well-known TV shows, including Queen of the South (USA), Walker (CW), Queen Sugar (OWN), and NCIS: New Orleans (CBS). She’s also had the chance to work under renowned directors such as James Gunn, Lisa Joy-Nolan, David Lowery, and Michael Zinberg. Known for her strong, confident performances, Giovannie often plays tough, authoritative characters like police officers or military personnel; roles that resonate with her childhood experience of growing up on military bases around the world as an army brat.

In addition to her acting career, Giovannie is skilled in basic stunts, movement, and gun handling, which has allowed her to work in motion capture for video games. Though she no longer sings opera professionally, she continues to lend her voice to projects like anime cartoons, audiobooks, commercial campaigns, and as a recurring voice in the Chuck-e-Cheese franchise. Giovannie is lucky to have had a wide range of experiences that allow her to do a little bit of everything in the entertainment industry.

During the pandemic years, Giovannie began developing  Lady Kings of Texas, a dark satire-comedy about a group of women escaping a government that wants to eliminate them for being childless. For her, producing her own work is a way to collaborate with others who value authentic, women-led stories. She believes that empowering women in the industry is important and that supporting each other helps everyone succeed.
