is an American actress of Puerto Rican descent who speaks both English and Spanish. She quickly gained attention in Hollywood, landing roles in multiple Warner Brothers films. Her passion for film acting began after she completed a challenging vocal training program at the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Opera Performance. During her undergraduate studies, Giovannie made the decision to shift her career focus to acting in movies and t.v. shows– to be “an actor who sings, rather than a singer who acts”.

After making the switch to on-camera acting, Giovannie handled her own bookings and within just three months landed a high-paying regional commercial. A year later, she caught the attention of Linda McAlister from Linda McAlister Talent, one of the top talent agencies in Texas, and they’ve been collaborating ever since. Giovannie’s talent and perseverance have helped her land over 30 commercials for major market brands, and she continues to book roles in film, television, and voiceover.

Giovannie has appeared in several well-known t.v. shows, including Queen of the South (USA), Walker (CW), Queen Sugar (OWN), and NCIS: New Orleans (CBS). Known for her strong, confident performances, Giovannie often plays tough, authoritative characters like police officers or military personnel; roles that resonate with her childhood experience of growing up on military bases around the world as an "army brat."

In addition to her acting career, Giovannie is skilled in basic stunts, movement, and gun handling, which has allowed her to work in motion capture for video games. Though she no longer sings opera professionally, she continues to lend her voice to projects like anime cartoons, audiobooks, and commercial campaigns. Giovannie has a wide range of skills, doing "a little bit of everything" in the entertainment industry.

Giovannie is also working on her own project, Lady Kings of Texas, a dark satire-comedy about a group of women escaping a government that wants to eliminate them for being childless. For her, producing her own work is a way to collaborate with others who value authentic, women-led stories. She believes that empowering women in the industry is important and that supporting each other helps everyone succeed.
